רדיד אלומיניום מסווג לפי עובי

ניתן לחלק את רדיד האלומיניום לרדיד עבה, רדיד אפס יחיד ורדיד אפס כפול לפי הפרש עובי.
(1) Heavy gaugefoil ("מדד כבד"): נייר כסף בעובי של 0.1 ~ 0.2 מ"מ.
(2) "רדיד בגודל בינוני": עובי של 0.01 מ"מ ופחות מ-0.1 מ"מ/ נייר כסף.
